We've had a few breakfasts here, always good, and then we tried a few slices of different pies for a late evening snack. Holy cow, the pies were amazing. I am going to have a hard time not going back for more every day, especially until I try every kind. Probably some of the best pie I've had. I have no pictures because it was so good we ate it before it even occurred to us to take a picture.

A cute little restaurant. When we got there nobody was there but a few more groups came in shortly. The waitress was very friendly. I ordered a patty melt and it was amazing! I normally remember to ask for no onions but I'm glad I forgot, it was amazing just as it comes!!!! I would have given five stars but the fries were less than spectacular.

We were staying in Weaverville and went out to breakfast here on a Sunday. Got there at about 9:30 and got a nice booth by the window. Food was the usual fare at an American diner. I got the Spanish omelette with cheddar and a biscuit with gravy instead of toast. I loved how easy it was to customize your meal. My partner got the chicken fried steak and a pancake instead of his toast. The Omelette was perfect, not too big and not dry at all. The gravy for the biscuit was savory and not too peppery, and nice and creamy. The pancake was perfectly toasty and had a nice chew. All in all it was a perfect breakfast and I highly recommend it. Staff was friendly too.

I have a nephew in town and I was really really hungry and I decided to give the Nugget a chance. My husband and I went in for dinner and we split eggs over easy with crispy hash browns and bacon and I believe some biscuits and gravy. Everything was cooked to perfection. I mean I'm really picky about how my eggs are done and very very snobby when it comes to gravy and if it's too salty. I had no complaints of anything. I enjoyed every single bite and I have to say that Myra the waitress was just a wonderful wonderful addition to the ambience of the restaurant. She is friendly/professional/informative/personal/happy/kind/authentic/endearing. When I come to town again I will be visiting the Nugget and hoping that Myra is there. Thank you nugget for a wonderful experience in Weaverville and thank you Myra for a wonderful experience at dinner.

Myra is such a doll! Wow she really made our dining experience feel like we were welcomed home. Loved, appreciated, and needed that hospitality! The steak was cooked perfect and tasted great. The pork chops as well. If you’re going to eat here then the dessert is an absolute MUST!!!! So many choices and all are homemade deliciousness.

Rhonda did a good job taking care of us. Breakfast at 2pm couldn’t be better after camping!! The English muffin was delicious and I loved my extra crispy hash browns!!

The nugget is a halfway point on my journey to Crescent city CA and the 2 times I stopped there for breakfast was amazing! The staff was super friendly and the prices were very fair
